Dorothy (doryeek, abbreviation of the full name Kok Yee Dorothy Chan) practices adaptability and established authenticity by exploring the invisible and inner vitality of tactile materiality, with materials from paper, wax, wood and metal to glass. Her monochrome objects project everyday encounters through detailed and abstract repetitions in multidimensional forms. Her work visualises the ever-changing tendency between destructive fragments/ nothingness and reconstructive wholeness/ oneness.
