Dorothy (doryeek, abbreviation of the full name Kok Yee Dorothy Chan) practices her adaptability and explores multiplicity from paper to glass and metal in terms of tactile materiality, invisible spirituality and inner vitality. Her works/ objects/ beings project everyday encounters in repetitive abstraction of detailed lines and forms, dimensions in monochrome and the ever-changing tendency between/ cycle of destructive fragments/ nothingness and/or reconstructive wholeness/ oneness.

Inspired by architects, designers and artists like Omer Arbel, Xavier Corbero, Wassily Kandinsky, Agnes Martin and Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm.
