Break it, drill it, and put it back together.
With the intention of making use of every single bit of float glass sheet - the continuum of "7", "12" consists of 2 parts, overlapping fused circles and 3 slumped objects. Every bit and piece has been outlined with fine liner on tracing paper from the beginning, in addition to adjusting the firing process and schedule because of the difficulties encountered in releasing "7" from kiln blocks and later on disintegrating itself over time.
"12" is constructed under its own chaotic disorder to form as sculptural and functional objects in specific fused order, the contrasting assemblage of absence and oneness, fragility and sturdiness, sharpness and transparency. The series continues to reassure its existence through breaking apart and holding themselves over numerous relocations.
